Please join the HLA for an Interactive Morning Kafe, hosted by Thomas Papain, HLA Treasurer and Securities Litigator. This is Pat IV of a Series of "Kafe Hours" hosted for HLA's Mentorship program.

About our host:

Thomas T. Papain's practice focuses on securities litigation. Thomas is an associate in the firm's New York office, where he works on 10b securities class actions. He was recently cited in a Forbes article titled "How the SEC's Charge That Cryptos Are Securities Could Face An Uphill Battle," accessible here, which discusses the SEC's lawsuits against cryptocurrency companies and whether digital tokens are securities.

Thomas is a member of the Bronx County Bar Association's Judiciary Committee and the New York City Bar Association's Securities Litigation Committee.

Thomas earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law (2012). Thomas earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University (B.A. in English and History, 2009).
