About our host:
Christina Moniodis is an HLA Board member and the founder of a newly launched startup, Kord. Kord is “your big fat Greek startup” creating a digital village to connect and network with Greeks locally and across different cities.
Before this, Christina’s career has spanned many roles: corporate attorney, Chief of Staff at HuffPost, Head of Strategy at Verizon’s news division, Executive-in-Residence at an Athens VC Fund, and VP of Business Development and Innovation for a celebrity-founded startup, A Starting Point.
Christina graduated from Yale Law School, where she was Projects Editor for the Yale Law Journal and a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. Christina is published in constitutional data privacy law in the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and extensively cited by the Supreme Court of India in its landmark decision recognizing data privacy rights. As a law student, Christina worked in the White House Counsel's Office, serving on Justice Sotomayor's Supreme Court nomination team and drafting Supreme Court amicus briefs for the White House.
