UPDATED NOTICE FROM THE EMBASSY OF GREECE REGARDING THIS EVENT:

"Due to the unprecedented floods in Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be cutting short his stay in New York arriving, now, on Tuesday September 19th, late evening. Respectful of the tragic loss of life, he won't be participating in any social events.

For this reason, the Prime Minister will be unable to attend the reception hosted by organizations of the Greek American community in his honor scheduled to take place on Monday September 18th, at 7:00pm at the Harvard Club. As we understand that it is now too late to cancel the event, he will, instead, be represented by the new Foreign Minister of Greece, Mr. Giorgos Gerapetritis.  We think that this will remain a good opportunity for members of the community to meet the Foreign Minister for the first time."
