The Officers and Directors would be delighted to once-again celebrate this year's Hellenic Lawyers Association Dinner Gala with you.
This year, we expect the Gala to once-again be a spectacular sold-out affair, as we pay tribute to the extraordinary accomplishments of our Honoree, and to the academic excellence of our law student scholarship recipients, all while celebrating our heritage and culture.
Our esteemed Honoree is Theane Evangelis, Esq. Ms. Evangelis is Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s global Litigation Practice Group and one of the country’s leading litigators. She represents clients in federal and state courts throughout the nation in a wide spectrum of cases and has argued and won high-profile, groundbreaking appeals across the country. This year, she argued and won a landmark appeal in the Supreme Court of the United States in one of the most consequential cases of the Term, Grants Pass v. Johnson, which involved the constitutionality of laws regulating public encampments.
